Coming off a recent renovation this modern Parisian style bistro, has been a neighborhood staple for years. Take a stroll down Tremont Street also know as restaurant row, because the South End is the premier restaurant district in downtown Boston. The attention to detail from the servers uniforms to the plating demonstrates the quality & value of Aquitaine. Upon entering the small restaurant you immediately find a tiny bar tucked to the side against a wall of glass with great views of Tremont Street. This is the perfect place for an afternoon aperitif. While the small space means it can be cramped on a busy evening, a reservation is recommended and not difficult to secure. The hand selected wine list features both French and California wines at a variety of price points. The menu is mostly traditional French, but Aquitaine welcomes all diners including vegetarians & gluten free friends. The Aquitaine Group has a few other restaurants in the South End too.
