This coming weekend will mark the 25th anniversary of Harpoon Beer at Harpoonfest (formerly known as Summer Sessions) in Boston. The summer festival is a two day celebration of fresh local beer and live music featuring Harpoon’s colorful beer selection and local musicians and it starts this friday at 5:00pm. You will be in luck to grab one (or all) of the 3 seasonal brews Summer Beer, UFO Raspberry Hefeweizen and Bohemian Pilsner and take in the flavors that will not return until late spring 2012. Harpoon beer brewery offers tours and tastings year round, so if your getaway to Boston is not happening this weekend, you will always have the chance to try one of the best things made in Boston at a later -or ealier- date. Tours are offered regularly during the year and private tastings can also be scheduled.
Harpoonfest also gives way to the 10th Anual 5-Miler to benefit The Angel Fund which will take place on Sunday May 22nd around the Harpoon grounds by the Boston Harbor waterfront.
After these beer filled festivities, there is no safer way to go home than staying in our Boston Bed and Breakfast!
