Three Unforgettable Evenings at Boston Symphony Hall

This September, Boston Symphony Hall invites audiences to three nights of artistry that celebrate the city, its future talent, and the timeless beauty of orchestral music. For guests of our hotel, these evenings offer not only extraordinary performances, but also a chance to experience Boston’s cultural heartbeat at its most inspiring.

The program extends beyond the concert hall, with music and performance woven into unexpected spaces throughout the evening.

The importance of this night is unmistakable: it reflects Boston’s inclusivity, celebrating culture that belongs to everyone, while offering guests a chance to witness the city’s creative soul in its purest form.

Night 3 – BSO Opening Gala

The week culminates with the BSO Opening Gala, a black-tie affair that epitomizes the elegance of Symphony Hall. Conductor Andris Nelsons leads an All-American program in honor of the hall’s 125th anniversary, featuring works from Barber and Gershwin to living composers like Jessie Montgomery, John Williams, and John Adams. It is a celebration of heritage and innovation, drawing together tradition and contemporary brilliance in one glittering evening.

This gala is more than a concert—it is an emblem of Boston’s cultural sophistication. To be present is to share in the legacy of Symphony Hall, a space that for over a century has been home to artistry of the highest order.

Ticketing & Pricing:
As a fundraising event, tickets are limited and pricing varies with seating and dinner arrangements. Standard single-seat pricing for major BSO events typically begins in the mid-hundreds and rises for premium experiences.
