The Boston Ballet will be opening its doors to the public on October 30th for everyone to enjoy the classic fairy tale of Swan Lake. Choreographed by Mikko Nessinen, this story is about the Swan Queen Odette and Prince Siegfried, and the intense love, betrayal and magic that unites them forever. This year the show features breathtaking new costumes, sets and choreography that will leave you spellbound.
Robert Perdziola, the designer of the show, is also the set and costume designer for the Boston Ballet’s, The Nutcracker. With Perdziola teamed up with Mikko Nissinen, this will surely be a show to remember. This year the performance has a new prologue and scenic details that recall the passion and impact of Pepita and Ivanov’s original ballet.
